Social Media Content Manager

Neff is seeking a full-time Social Media Content Manager.

The Social Media Content Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day content creation and community management across all social media channels for designated clients. This individual will be responsible for the editorial content calendar, community engagement, content development, off-site photoshoots, and any other additional creative needs. They will need to post content, ensure timely responses, manage client campaigns, and make sure that the brand voice, feel, and look is carried out across all applicable platforms. The individual should be versed in current and emerging social platforms with a proven track record of getting tasks done quickly and efficiently. This role will report to the Social Media Manager.

• Create all content for clients from start to finish, including graphics, photography, and copywriting
• Ensure all posts maintain a consistent look/feel, tone, and voice
• Mediate, and if necessary, properly escalate customer service concerns with appropriate client contacts in a timely manner
• Tailor posts to users unique to each social channel
• Identify content that drives overall engagement
• Work with the Social Media Manager to be aware of the social metrics reports and their implications for future initiatives
• Collaborate within the agency on cross-department client campaigns, working especially close with the PR department to identify and leverage opportunities for social activations
• Be a “content opportunist” – identify and develop interesting, unique ways to further promote the brand and its overall message

Required Skills
• 3-5 years’ experience in a digital communications role with responsibility for social media including organic and paid
• Previous client contact and account management
• BA/BS in communications, marketing, or related field
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience working on social media platforms for a company
• Working Knowledge of paid social advertising is a big plus as well as an understanding of analytics
• Experience with content creation for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and any other applicable programs
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and all relevant content creation tools and platforms
• Experience with Sprout Social preferred, but not necessary
• Proven high-quality photography portfolio and samples of graphic design
• Can multitask and manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work well under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
• Willing and able to work weekends if needed
• High attention to details – excellent written and verbal skills
• Familiarity with established and emerging social platforms
• Assertive and resourceful with a proven track record of getting things done
