Specialty: Video Editor
Searching for a creative marketing spirit with 10-15+ years’ audio and video promotional spot production experience to convey WHYY’s mission through on air and online spots. This role requires sophisticated storytelling and production editing abilities, deep technical and project management skills as well as motion graphics skills. As a team member, you’ll also contribute to department-wide initiatives including marketing planning and fundraising.
Responsible for overseeing the creation of audio/video broadcast and digital/social media promotional spots, including station branding, TV and FM program branding, event, client sponsorship and community engagement spots. Comfortable with short turnaround times and multi-level approval processes. Must excel in Adobe Creative Suite and/or AVID software, motion graphics or similar; knowledge of audio and video editing systems is required.
