Insomnia Cookies quirky, pop-culture centric, rapidly growing company is seeking a consumer marketing savvy Creative Manager to join our Creative Services team.  This position is based remote for the time being, with an eventual dedicated based of operations at our new Philadelphia HQ set to open later this year.

Position outline:

As the Creative Manager, you will be responsible for helping to drive and support the creative strategy and visual identity for our growing national brand through print, digital, experiential and social mediums. You have a love for branding, design, advertising, and content creation, as well as having a finger on the pulse of pop-culture and social media. Our ideal candidate will be someone eager to push big ideas and think conceptually while understanding the brand direction, brand standards and approach. The Creative Manager will also be responsible for leading design and campaign work, under the direction of the Creative Director.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Concept and create campaigns for key products, promotions, and holiday periods
  • Provide creative direction and support for team of graphic designers
  • Advise on design strategies and determine messages to best engage a given audience
  • Support Creative and Brand Directors in overall brand stewardship, strategy and evolution
  • Work with creative/branding agencies, freelancers and graphic design team to execute campaigns and projects on brief, on budget and on time

What attributes we seek:

  • 10+ years of graphic design and/or creative experience
  • A self-starter with ability to work on deadlines and self-manage projects
  • Ability to clearly visually communicate ideas
  • An eye for the bigger picture, and the smallest details
  • Working knowledge or Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Social Applications
  • Some knowledge of photography and videography
  • Prior copy writing experience
  • Ability to take constructive critique in order to reach brand goals
  • Uber collaborative and benevolent leadership style


Technical skills that will be helpful: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, animation, working knowledge of UX Digital Design
