Dray Clark will join CBS 3 (KYW-TV) as a general assignment reporter beginning Monday, September 29th, Vice President and News Director Susan Schiller has announced.
Clark comes home to the Delaware Valley from WJW-TV, the FOX station in Cleveland, Ohio, where he has been a reporter and weekend anchor since 2005. Previously, he had served as a reporter and weekend anchor for WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He also worked at WMAZ-TV in Macon, Georgia as a reporter and weekend anchor.
Clark’s reporting has been honored with a 2004 Michigan Emmy Award for Best Health and Medical Series and two awards from The Press Club of Cleveland for Spot News and General News.
A proponent of literacy programs, Clark has served as a mentor and tutor for school children in cities where he has worked. His interest grew out of his own struggle with reading as a grade school student.
A native of Chester, Pennsylvania, Clark attended Chester High School Academy. He is a 2000 graduate of Lincoln University, the nation’s first historically Black college, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English Communications. Clark is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
