Brian Haddad Joins SportsRadio as Creative Services Director

SportsRadio WIP AM & FM announced the addition of Brian Haddad as Creative Services Director and part-time on-air personality.

Haddad joins WIP from KDKB in Phoenix. He has worked for legendary radio stations including WLLZ – Detroit, WRCX and WKQX – Chicago, after getting his start at WIOT – Toledo.

In addition to his previous production experience, Haddad has successfully held down virtually every daypart from overnights to morning drive under the pseudonym, “Sludge.”

WIP Operations Manager Andy Bloom commented on the addition of Haddad to the stations’ creative brain-trust: “We embarked on a 3+ month nationwide search to find the person who would make WIP the best produced station in the country. There is no question we found the most creative mind and talented person to help us accomplish that goal. We view Brian as our new secret weapon.”

Haddad added, “I'm incredibly excited to be on the team of monster sports powerhouse WIP, in a city like Philly that eats, sleeps, and breathes sports. I want to thank Andy Bloom, Marc Rayfield, Chris Oliviero, and Dan Mason for this opportunity. It feels great to finally have redemption after getting kicked out of Bobby Knight basketball camp by making Coach Knight laugh to the point of collapse upon witnessing my jump shot.”
