Assistant Teaching Professor, Advertising

The Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications at Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a non-tenure track advertising faculty position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor. The appointee will be a faculty member in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, with starting date in Fall 2022. We seek a colleague who has the expertise to teach or develop a range of courses in advertising including creative strategy, campaign development, brand strategy and consumer insights. Responsibilities for the position include teaching undergraduate classes, advising students, and providing service to the college and university.

Candidates for the position should have significant professional experience in advertising or related marketing communication fields. A master’s degree is preferred, but not required.

The Department of Advertising and Public Relations offers both resident and online degree programs. It is part of the Bellisario College, one of the largest accredited communication programs in the nation. The college is home to the Arthur W. Page Center for Integrity in Public Communication, a national leader in the study and advancement of ethics and responsibility in communication.
