Steve Rosen, Managing Director of Aloysius Butler & Clark, Named President of the Philly Ad Club Board of Directors

PHILADELPHIA, PA (May 7) — The Philly Ad Club, the greater Philadelphia region’s leading membership-based organization for the advertising industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Rosen as the new president of its board of directors. Rosen will bring his wealth of industry experience and resources to the role, continuing the leadership of past president, NBC Local President, and General Manager Ric Harris, who made substantial contributions to the club’s growth and success during his tenure.

Rosen is the managing director at Aloysius Butler & Clark (AB&C), one of the largest independent full-service marketing communications agencies on the East Coast. He has decades of experience working at some of the area’s most notable communications companies, plus a proven track record in promoting iconic regional and national consumer, B2B, B2C, healthcare, and professional services brands. Rosen is poised to lead the organization into an exciting new chapter, and his dedication to fostering creativity, innovation, and fun will undoubtedly benefit the club and its members.

“I am honored and excited to serve as the next president of the Philly Ad Club and will leverage all the opportunities of our dynamic and evolving industry,” said Rosen. “I look forward to working collaboratively with our board members and industry partners to continue to make the club relevant and engaging to everyone in the industry. Together, we will elevate the standard of excellence and make lasting and valuable contributions to our community.”

“The Philly Ad Club looks forward to an exciting future under the leadership of Steve Rosen,” said Philly Ad Club Executive Director Cynthia Weiss. “He is a worthy successor to Ric Harris, who helped us rebound from the pandemic and achieve numerous milestones, including membership and sponsorship growth and expanded engagement with the Philadelphia advertising community. We are also delighted that Ric will continue to work with Steve and our other board members to advance our mission.”

Rosen has been a Philly Ad Club board member for more than a decade. He played a key role in helping the organization continue to operate during the pandemic, and he’s worked with other board members to develop a three-year strategic plan. Most recently, he served as vice president of the club.

In addition to his involvement with the Philly Ad Club, Rosen is on the board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, and he supports many economic, civic, social and DEI initiatives. He’s also proud to be a nearly lifelong resident of Center City Philadelphia.
