We are currently searching for a Marketing Manager to join our team.

Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of multi-channel marketing projects and activities, in support of sales and branding initiatives for the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB) and its partners. The Marketing Manager is an integral member of the Marketing and Communications team and will primarily manage marketing and advertising efforts in support of the PHLCVB Convention Sales and Services group, the Pennsylvania Convention Center (PCC); as well as all PHLCVB departments.

Interested candidates should apply at:

-Working with external agencies and media partners, manage and traffic media plans. Review and report out on media performance and recommend adjustments/additions to future buys.
-Support internal departments marketing efforts and ensure successful implementation of creative/branding across of all company campaigns.
-Serve as project manager on a portfolio of marketing initiatives to support internal PHLCVB departments as listed above. Assignments include (but are not limited to) development of advertising materials, video, photography, print collateral, publications, signage, and digital communications.
-Develop project briefs, provide clear and complete direction, and establish timelines for deliverables to facilitate successful collaboration.
-Manage flow of project requests to in-house graphic designer. Manage and track all projects from inception to completion, keeping project deadlines and budgets, and regularly communicating progress and issues with key team members.
-Ensure that all projects and creative executions maintain consistency with PHLCVB brand strategy and guidelines and reflect PHLCVBs commitment to inclusion and diversity.
-Work effectively with outside agencies, creative partners, media buyers, publications, photographers, videographers, printers, etc., always representing the PHLCVB and its mission.
-Provide marketing support for PHLCVB events.

Education/Experience: BA/BS degree and 5+ years relevant work experience in marketing, advertising, or related field required; destination marketing experience is preferred.

-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Able to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; respectful of deadlines; and adaptable to shifting priorities according to business needs.
-Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities someone who brings solutions.
-Able to work independently (a self-starter), but at the same time collaborative and inclusive (a team-player).
-Excellent verbal, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
-Knowledge of Philadelphia preferred; international and/or destination marketing experience ideal.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of project management and digital asset management systems a plus.
