Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a creative, talented Art Director to join our Integrated Marketing Services team. You will work directly with our Creative Director to develop, execute and manage logo rebrands, website redesigns and integrated marketing campaigns.
You are a self-starter, and can work effectively across a wide range of diverse destinations and clients. You are comfortable collaborating across multiple teams and practice areas to craft innovative creative solutions that amplify brands online and build equity for diverse communities.
You are just as comfortable sharing your thoughts in an ideation session with our web and account services team as you are establishing authority and presenting creative ideas to clients and stakeholders. You thrive on team building and working collaboratively to bring a creative concept to final execution.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact across hundreds of websites in a single vertical (tourism, of course) and develop creative designs and executions that drive performance online.
A Day in the Life of an Art Director at Tempest May Include
*Generate creative website designs and integrated marketing campaigns in tandem with our creative team and client partners.
*Present work with knowledge and skill, communicating our process and creative strategy.
*Understand creative strategies, strategic positions and target audience.
*Incorporate direction and feedback from senior creative team and client partners.
*Deliver work within allotted time and budget.
*Manage project workflow and prioritization, taking work from concept to final execution within deadline.
*Collaborate and manage other designers, developers and contractors.
*Stay informed on the latest design trends and best practices.
*Build strong relationships with clients during on-site and event travel.
*Expertise across Adobe Creative Suite.
*Experience leading a creative team.
*Video editing capabilities.
*Experience collaborating with copywriters, photographers, illustrators, and website developers.
*Collaborative approach to working with teams and strong problem-solving skills.
*Excellent project management skills.
*Experience working in a fast-paced digital agency environment.
*Ability to manage several tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Travel up to 50%
