Philly Ad Club Mentor Program

Become a mentor/mentee! Here's how:Goals:
Provide meaningful and valuable experiences for members through a beneficial and flexible mentor program
Coordinators:
Mentor Program Committee Members (a sub-committee)
Program Duration:
Three four-month cycles to reflect school semesters and business seasons
• Jan – April: Session #1
• May – August: Session #2
• September – December: Session #3 (Deadline August 1, 2009)
Application Process:
Interested members will be able to apply upon membership and/or by downloading below application. Applicants will be reviewed by committee members and paired with an ideal mentors/mentees who reflects their skills, goals and expectations as part of the Mentor Program.
(APPLICANT MUST BE a Philly Ad Club member.)

Mentee Qualifications:
• Less than 5 years industry experience
• Declared college major in an Advertising or Communication field – Junior or Senior year
• Commitment to program with willingness to provide feedback
Mentor Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of relevant experience in a marketing field
• Commitment to program and willingness to provide feedback
Time Commitment:
• 4 month increments per session
• Two meetings a month per four month cycle
Mentor/Mentee Meetings:
Meetings should reflect the purpose of the program, which is to share knowledge and experiences in order to further develop the skills of the mentor/mentee. Examples:
• In-office shadowing
• Business lunches
• Attendance at PAC or other industry related events
