NBC10 names Ben Oldham VP Sales

NBC10 Philadelphia (WCAU-TV) announced that Ben Oldham has been named Vice President of Sales. Oldham, who will start on May 21, comes to his new role after serving as General Sales Manager at KPRC, the NBC affiliate in Houston.

"Ben has provided strong sales leadership in three markets and has built an impressive record of strengthening those stations’ sales departments,” said Eric Lerner, NBC10 President and General Manager. “We’re excited to welcome him to our team.”

Oldham has prior experience in the Philadelphia market, having served as KYW-TV’s Local Sales Manager and then Director of Sales from 1997 to 2002.

Oldham has worked in the broadcast industry for over 25 years. During his tenure at KPRC, the station experienced growth in sales share and rank, with the station’s market share increasing by more than three points in the first quarter of 2012. Prior to KPRC, Oldham was National Sales Manager and General Sales Manager for WATL in Atlanta from 2002-2006.

Oldham graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and a Minor in Business Administration. He and his wife Colleen will be relocating to the Philadelphia area.
