If you answered “yes,” to any or all of these questions, make plans to attend Philly Ad Club Students first annual Media Crawl!
Philly is home to hundreds, if not thousands, of media companies, offering job opportunities in graphic design, editorial/programming, sales, promotion, digital, and more. But the media industry is very competitive.
To help open the doors for area college students, Philly Ad Club Students has arranged visits to three top media companies: CBS Radio's KYW 1060 and 94 WYSP; the Philadelphia Business Journal, part of American City Business Journals; and FOX29. You'll get a "behind-the-scenes" tour of their operations and meet with key players from their main departments, people who can answers your questions and help you break into the industry.
The tour starts in the lobby of 400 Market Street (Corner of 4th & Market) in Downtown Philly at 12:00 sharp. All currently enrolled college students, as well as May and December 2009 graduates, are invited.
But be sure to sign up right away as we can only take 50 students on the crawl.
The cost is $10 for members of Philly Ad Club Students;
$20 for students who are not members.
Lunch will be served at our first stop on the crawl,
compliments of CBS Radio. As of now, the dress code
for the Media Crawl is interview attire. If this changes, we’ll let you know.
