Howard Eskin, legendary Philadelphia sports talker on SportsRadio 610 WIP, and his son Brett "Spike" Eskin of 94.1 Free FM WYSP became the first father and son to share a broadcast studio in the Philadelphia market on Wednesday, May 17 when they co-hosted a one-time-only talk show from 1 to 3 p.m. on WYSP.
The gig was a going-away present of sorts from WYSP's Operations Manager Tom Bigby who arranged the special broadcast in recognition of Spike's last day with the station. The younger Eskin leaves for Chicago where he will become assistant program director and music director for alternative-rock station WKXQ.
